Yesterday was a wonderful day at Karma! We could finally divide into two groups and get two jobs done-and do them right!! Susan and I catered a retirement party for a group from "Gold Toe" (and what lovely people they are-soo nice) and Ann and Becky stayed behind and cooked and served for Karma. I was so happy that everyone loved our food at the retirement party and were so nice and complimentary. Ann said everyone that ate at Karma yesterday told her the same thing-they loved their food.
We are glad we are getting things right (after a year of "working out the quirks"), but it is the people that are making this so worthwhile! The kind words of encouragement, praise and sometimes hope for our new business means the world to me. When I am ready to give up after a particularly slow day and a customers says "that is the best quiche (chicken salad, soup, etc)" I have ever had-it makes all the difference.
So I want to say thank you to everyone who has ever taken the time to stop and give any of us at Karma a kind word. It matter so much and it is what keeps us going (especially me!!). So, my challenge of the day is for everyone to say a kind word when ever they get a chance. Let's all make someone feel better-we all need a little "word hug" now and then.
Hugs and again--Thank You so much to everyone who made us
