In our header, you will notice the beautiful building in the middle of all the pictures. This is my sister-in-law, Navina's ancestral home; which her family still owns. It was one of the most beautiful things we saw on our trip to India (and she promised me next time we come to India, we can spend the night there-now, you know that is one of the reasons I want to hurry back)! The sweet caretakers who live in the house and take care of it for Navina and her family, were so gracious and welcoming. They made us tea and we sat and enjoyed the beauty of the home. My sister-in-law arranged a most wonderful treat-she had a horse and camel for us all to enjoy! My brother-in-law, Manoj, took me to a shop where a man was making bangles , around the corner from the house. He bought me some beautiful bangles (like the ones we sell in our shop) and I so see enjoyed seeing these made. When we got back, we took more pictures and further enjoyed this wonderful day! The children and I all marveled at the fact my sister-in-law's family own such a treasure of a place.
