When I redo the menu, I will highlight and let you know how many calories (calories are the only real way to measure intake-don't let anyone fool you) are in our healthy option items. For a while, I have forgotten how important good eating is for myself. When I started Karma my goals were: local farm fresh foods (DONE), locally roasted organic FAIR TRADE coffee (DONE), to include lots of organic, fresh produce and meats in our menu (DONE), have a place where people feel welcome and returning customers become friends (DONE), listen to "the voice of the customer" (ON-GOING), create an atmosphere where one can have fun and enjoy themselves (ON-GOING- still need more entertainment and activities), and to have a healthy option menu (NOT-DONE). We have plenty of healthy option foods, but no menu! I am going to be working with Chef Sherry to get this menu done, so you may have it shortly. We have lots of great foods-I love them all! Some are special occasion foods, some are treats and some are truly healthy. In the coming weeks, I will let you know what your healthy options are!
